Super-FRS target chamber arrived at GSI

The target chamber of the Super-FRS arrived at GSI and will undergo further tests and preparatory work before the transport to the FAIR construction site and installation at its final location in November 2025. The target chamber houses various replaceable "plugs" which are inserted from the top. On these plugs the graphite target wheel will be mounted (on which the primary beam from SIS18 and later SIS100 impinges on) and also beam diagnostics.
