Test for transport of GLAD vacuum chamber

In Q2/2026, the transport of the large vacuum chamber of the GLAD dipole magnet from its present location at GSI to the High-Energy Cave (HEC) of FAIR is planned. As a first test, the movement of the device by use of air cushions was perfomed. In addition, the equipment for lifting the device was tested. This transport is also used to get accommodated with the required documentation and safety procedures. It thus serves as a templat for the trasnport of other NUSTAR components.
