Shock-wave meeting for PRIOR@FAIR

HED@FAIR collaboration is pleased to announce the International Workshop on High Energy Proton Microscopy, April 24–26, 2019, in Freiberg University, Germany.

The topics of workshop are areas of basic science where enhanced energy proton radiography can make significant contributions:

  • Dynamic Compression Science,
  • High-Energy-Density Science
  • Process-Aware Manufacturing Science.

An international panel of collaborators will discuss High Energy Proton Microscopy, its status, technical specifications, the enablement of scientific experiments at PRIOR II facility at FAIR. This workshop will focus on defining a class of material science experiments that can effectively utilize high-resolution proton microscopy to achieve new scientific discoveries.
