STFC Media and Times journalists visit GSI/FAIR

UK guest were impressed by NUSTAR preparations. Earlier this week STFC media representatives Stephanie Hills and Wendy Ellison and The Times journalist Tom Whipple visited GSI/FAIR together with Prof. Paddy Regan from Surrey University to receive first hand information on the FAIR project and NUSTAR in particular. They got cought when Jürgen Gerl (NUSTAR PM) and Haik Simon (R3B) explained our scientific goal to better understand matter in the universe. Viewing the complex experimental set-ups of PRESPEC/HISPEC and LAND/R3B prepared at GSI our guests were stunned and pleased to see the important contributions of UK groups.
