First tests of cold mass of GLAD magnet

The heart of the R3B experiment will be the new superconducting GLAD magnet. First tests of the readily mounted cold mass with the coils are foreseen at CEA Saclay in August/September 2012. At the same time the cryo plant for GLAD at Cave-C, serving also as test bench for the eventual FAIR cryo system, is being prepared in the target hall.
