The so-called blue-line markings for the alignment of beam-line components were added in the High-Energy Cave (HEC) of NUSTAR. This is a major step in the installation process.

As the first major component of the NUSTAR collaboration, the GLAD vacuum chamber was successfully transported to the NUSTAR High-Energy Cave.

For the envisaged transport of the large vacuum chamber of the GLAD dipole magnet from its present location at GSI to the High-Energy Cave (HEC) of FAIR, a first test with air cushions was perfomed. In addition, the equipment for lifting the device was tested.

The target chamber of the Super-FRS arrived at GSI and will undergo further tests and preparatory work before the transport to the FAIR construction site and installation at its final location in November 2025.

Today, the multiplet LM11/LM_01 was moved to its final location in the Super-FRS tunnel (pre-target area).

Today, the first superconducting multiplet of the Super-FRS was moved into the tunnel. This marks a major milestone of the Super-FRS installation which is expected to conclude in 2027 with the start of operation at the end of 2027 (start of Early Science).
