ECE - FAIR Expert Committee Experiments

The Expert Committee Experiments comprises sixteen internationally acknowledged independent scientists. They advise FAIR with regard to the technical and scientific progress of experiments. The committee, with the involvement of additional international researchers, appraises construction designs for individual components of the experimental facilities – the so-called Technical Design Reports (TDRs). This is of key significance so as to guarantee the best-possible construction, and the approval of the TDRs is the prerequisite for the financing of the experiments on FAIR.
